It aids in healing from trauma & disease physical & mental conditions using physical agents including exercise, mobilization, manipulation, mechanical and electrotherapy activity & devices or diagnosis treatment & prevention.It is a medicine required by people of varied age group.

With the increasing demand for physiotherapist in health service sectors as well as in the corporate world, the entire profession of physiotherapy has been re-defined. All the big hospitals and health care units in India have physiotherapy departments.
